Wings That I lost

I’m a feather
I fall gracefully
and I turn
and flip in the
breeze

I do not have anywhere to
go

perhaps down

perhaps I’ll catch the breeze
and fly to New Zealand

off I go
and then I land
for a moment

but it hurts too much
to remember the
wings that I lost

so I drift
away
again

and forget
that home I once had

i like the lineation of this poem alot.. its sort of like the movement of a feather.. i also notice that you write alot about falling.. i think its a good theme

that's good advice.. i think i just get so frustrated with not understanding it, that i get a bad attitude about the whole class and it makes it even harder.. i'll try to convince myself that i adore french..
